System() and Background Procs with Piping, Redirs, and PTYs

Edit Package perl-IPC-Run

IPC::Run allows you run and interact with child processes using files,
pipes, and pseudo-ttys. Both system()-style and scripted usages are
supported and may be mixed. Like-wise, functional and OO API styles are
both supported and may be mixed.

  - RT 57190 - handle PATH environment variable not being defined. 
    WILL NOT default to '.' since UNIX would not do this and the 
    program has been behaving the UNIX way to date.
