you really want to include some kind of license here. Factory only allows open source - and that requires a license. https://choosealicense.com/
how to specify that for container images ? I couldn't find examples. License is present packages it is built on.
Just put a "LICENSE" or "COPYING" file into the package
I am looking to the kunic container images and see nothing there. This container contains number of packages and probably some of them have different type of license. Which one to choose ?
Indeed, no container images appear to have that yet, only JeOS does. The topic on which license to choose is fairly complex, generally I recommend MIT for the image description itself.
we're talking about a license for the sources - not of the container itself.
There are no sources, except of internal kiwi files. Could you please point me to one container example that has it ?
As Fabian said: put a COPYING next to your kiwi file with the MIT license to open source the config
