Blender is a free 3D animation studio. It includes tools for modeling, sculpting, texturing (painting, node-based shader materials, or UV mapped), UV mapping, rigging and constraints, weight painting, particle systems, simulation (fluids, physics, and soft body dynamics and an external crowd simulator), rendering, node-based compositing, and non linear video editing, as well as an integrated game engine for real-time interactive 3D, and game creation and playback with cross-platform compatibility.

COLLADA is a royalty-free XML schema that enables digital asset exchange within the interactive 3D industry.
OpenCOLLADA is a Google summer of code opensource project providing libraries for 3D file interchange between applications like blender.
COLLADABaseUtils : Utils used by many of the other projects
COLLADAFramework : Datamodel used to load COLLADA files
COLLADAStreamWriter : sources (Library to write COLLADA files)
COLLADASaxFrameworkLoader : Library that loads COLLADA files in a sax like manner into the framework data model
COLLADAValidator : XML validator for COLLADA files, based on the COLLADASaxFrameworkLoader
GeneratedSaxParser : Library used to load xml files in the way used by COLLADASaxFrameworkLoader

OpenColorIO (OCIO) is a complete color management solution geared towards
motion picture production with an emphasis on visual effects and computer
animation. OCIO provides a straightforward and consistent user experience
across all supporting applications while allowing for sophisticated back-end
configuration options suitable for high-end production usage. OCIO is
compatible with the Academy Color Encoding Specification (ACES) and is
LUT-format agnostic, supporting many popular formats.
OpenImageIO is a library for reading and writing images, and a bunch of related
classes, utilities, and applications. There is a particular emphasis on formats
and functionality used in professional, large-scale animation and visual
effects work for film. OpenImageIO is used extensively in animation and VFX
studios all over the world, and is also incorporated into several commercial
products.
The main part of the project consists in a JPEG 2000 codec compliant with the Part 1 of the standard (Class-1 Profile-1 compliance).
The OpenJPEG library is written in C language, released under the BSD license and targets Win32, Unix and Mac OS platforms.
The library is developed by the Communications and Remote Sensing Lab (TELE) of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), with the support of the CS company, the CNES and the intoPIX company.
Open Shading Language (OSL) is a small but rich language for programmable shading in advanced renderers and other applications, ideal for describing materials, lights, displacement, and pattern generation.
OSL was originally developed by Sony Pictures Imageworks for use in its in- house renderer used for feature film animation and visual effects, released as open source so it could be used by other visual effects and animation studios and rendering software vendors. Now it's the de facto standard shading language for VFX and animated features, used across the industry in many commercial and studio- proprietary renderers. Because of this, the work on OSL received an Academy Award for Technical Achievement in 2017.
Pystring is a collection of C++ functions which match the interface and
behavior of Python's string class methods using std::string. Implemented in
C++, it does not require or make use of a Python interpreter. It provides
convenience and familiarity for common string operations not included in the
standard C++ library. It's also useful in environments where both C++ and
Python are used.
Overlapping functionality (such as index and slice/substr) of std::string is
included to match Python interfaces.
Originally developed at Sony Pictures Imageworks.

Tupi: Open 2D Magic is a design and authoring tool for digital artists
interested in 2D Animation. It's source code is based on the KTooN
project.
Some of its main features are: basic illustration tools (shapes, fill,
text), gradient tools, onion skin, brushes editor, pencil with smoothness
support, basic object library (for svg files and raster images) and many
others.
Using its modules of Animation and Reproduction you can export 2D projects
to several formats as OGG, MPEG, AVI, MOV and SWF. Additionally, the
option of exporting Image arrays as output is available.
Welcome to my build service projects.
