The mono-librt package includes two subpackages:
1) The Mono.LibRt and Mono.LibRt.HRT real time facilities class
wrappers. These classes wrap interfaces to real time policy and
priority settings, task processor affinity settings, and the high
resolution timer system.
2) The monocyclic latency measurement tool. This tool is based on the
C-language tool called cyclictest. The tool measures wake up
latencies in the Mono runtime and so allows latency problem
diagnosis and demonstration.
This package is based on the package 'libgdiplus0' from project 'Mono'.
An Open Source implementation of the GDI+ API, it is part of the Mono Project
This package is based on the package 'mono-core' from project 'Mono'.
The Mono Project is an open development initiative that is working to
develop an open source, Unix version of the .NET development platform.
Its objective is to enable Unix developers to build and deploy
cross-platform .NET applications. The project will implement various
technologies that have been submitted to the ECMA for standardization.
Real time policy and priority APIs, task CPU affinity API, High Resolution Timers API. Monocyclic latency measurement tool.
Cpuset is a Python application to make using the cpusets facilities in
the Linux kernel easier. The actual included command is called cset
and it allows manipulation of cpusets on the system and provides higher
level functions such as implementation and control of a basic CPU
shielding setup.
A collection of utilities supplied by IBM to create a real time
environment primarily for RT WebSphere applications deployed on SLERT.
Also contains a utility called ibm-prtm that removes latencies seen
when running SLERT on IBM hardware due to SMI interrupts.
This package includes two assemblies, Mono.LibRt and Mono.LibRt.HRT.
Mono.LibRt provides an API for real time policy and priority querying
and setting as well as processor affinity querying and setting.
Mono.LibRt.HRT provides an API to the High Resolution Timers facilities
found on real time Linux and the modern Linux kernels.
