We have a problem.
We wouldn't have one if project maintainers had given 934894 some love.
"The problem" is silently changing it back. And here I wondered why it got worse all of a sudden…
I do not see a problem. youtube-dl.src.rpm generated yt-dlp.noarch.rpm since the mid-2021 switch.
Any user who had youtube-dl originally installed and did a
zypper update
in the second half of 2021: their system changed from youtube-dl to yt-dlp. If, in 2022, they run zypper update again, they will keep yt-dlp.Any user who had youtube-dl installed and did no update in 2021: if they now run zypper up, they will keep youtube-dl.
