  * C++ and Fortran interfaces for older high-level APIs:
       H5Lite (H5LT), H5Image (H5IM), and H5Table (H5TB)
  *  New and improved tools
- removed doc package (doc/html no longer provided with package)
- octave builds againist 1.6 compatibility stuff
