File gcs_respectBotoCfgKeyword.patch of Package python-gcs-oauth2-boto-plugin.474
From 07974cb7585ba164861d75f263bba09dd5e1973e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Robert Schweikert <rjschwei@suse.com> Date: Sat, 31 Jan 2015 06:41:47 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] - Support the use of system configured certificates + boto has the option to use system configured certificates by using the "system" keyword in boto.cfg. We need to respect this configuration option. Not accounting for this may lead to SSL verification issues on systems that use this setting. --- gcs_oauth2_boto_plugin/oauth2_helper.py | 6 +++++- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/gcs_oauth2_boto_plugin/oauth2_helper.py b/gcs_oauth2_boto_plugin/oauth2_helper.py index 4bfaf08..940f2cb 100644 --- a/gcs_oauth2_boto_plugin/oauth2_helper.py +++ b/gcs_oauth2_boto_plugin/oauth2_helper.py @@ -100,6 +100,10 @@ def OAuth2ClientFromBotoConfig(config, client_secret = config.get('OAuth2', 'client_secret', os.environ.get('OAUTH2_CLIENT_SECRET', CLIENT_SECRET)) + ca_certs_file=config.get_value('Boto', 'ca_certificates_file') + if ca_certs_file == 'system': + ca_certs_file = None + if not client_secret: raise Exception( 'client_secret for your application obtained from ' @@ -114,7 +118,7 @@ def OAuth2ClientFromBotoConfig(config, 'Boto', 'https_validate_certificates', True)), proxy_host=proxy_host, proxy_port=proxy_port, proxy_user=proxy_user, proxy_pass=proxy_pass, - ca_certs_file=config.get_value('Boto', 'ca_certificates_file')) + ca_certs_file=ca_certs_file) else: raise Exception('You have attempted to create an OAuth2 client without ' 'setting up OAuth2 credentials.') -- 1.8.4.5
