SUSE Linux Enterprise Usage Notes --------------------------------- The purpose of these libraries is to use them in an end-application that requires latest features of Boost and when it's not feasible to use Boost 1.66 in SP2+. It is recommended to *never* use Boost 1.75 in public libraries if the user of these libraries can also be linked with the older Boost 1.66 at the same time. This will result in unstable symbol resolution resulting in possible indeterminate states. boost-devel has been split up into individual packages for simpler product management. Please stop depending explicitly on boost-devel and depend on individual boost -devel packages
