<patchinfo incident="8663"> <issue tracker="bnc" id="1093843">sapconf: stop/disable left in common.sh</issue> <issue tracker="bnc" id="1099101">sapconf still sets kernel.sem</issue> <issue tracker="bnc" id="1096498">incorrect SAP note references in sapconf</issue> <issue tracker="bnc" id="1093844">sapconf: hardcoded value left for VSZ_TMPFS_PERCENT</issue> <category>recommended</category> <rating>moderate</rating> <packager>AngelaBriel</packager> <description>This update for sapconf provides the following fixes: - Sapconf should not change the system settings for kernel.sem, so remove the variables SEM* from it. (bsc#1099101) - Correct the SAP Note references in the man pages and in the sysconfig file of the sapconf package. (bsc#1096498) - Avoid stopping or disabling uuidd.socket in sapconf as it is mandatory for every SAP application running. (bsc#1093843) - Remove hardcoded default value for VSZ_TMPFS_PERCENT. This allows an admin to exclude VSZ_TMPFS settings from the sysconfig file, so the current system value will remain untouched. This value only got used in the previous version, if the variable VSZ_TMPFS_PERCENT was removed from the sapconf configuration file /etc/sysconfig/sapconf. If the value of the variable was only changed (increased or decreased) in the sapconf configuration file everything works fine. (bsc#1093844) - Remove the no longer needed sysconfig file. - Remove the pagecache references from the sysconfig file.</description> <summary>Recommended update for sapconf</summary> </patchinfo>
