File perf-pmu-Pass-pmu-as-a-parameter-to-get_cpuid_str.patch of Package perf.17853
From 4cf3a84f2e61da1867e9840e9d1b39f40a201e18 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ganapatrao Kulkarni <ganapatrao.kulkarni@cavium.com> Date: Tue, 17 Oct 2017 00:02:18 +0530 Subject: [PATCH 123/132] perf pmu: Pass pmu as a parameter to get_cpuid_str() Git-commit: 54e32dc0f89ec7fcb87df6c45b096e57f050f22b Patch-mainline: v4.16-rc1 References: fate#325865,fate#325861 The cpuid string will not be same on all CPUs on heterogeneous platforms like ARM's big.LITTLE, adding provision(using pmu->cpus) to find cpuid string from associated CPUs of PMU CORE device. Also optimise arguments to function pmu_add_cpu_aliases.
