nvdirector acts inbetween nxclient and nxserver to establish a session
according to the settings that are server-side predefined for the user.

Userspecific settings are taken from a central LDAP directory or
server-side configuration file, general settings are taken from a
server-side configuration file. From the client only username and password
are used to establish the session.

Sessions could be directed to Linux or Windows terminal servers as well as
Xen or VMware virtual machines, or various natively installed systems.
Loadbalancing for cluster of terminal servers (even Windows) or virtual
machine hosts is possible based on current server utilisation and custom
policies.
