Running multiple MySQL servers
------------------------------

mysqld_multi support is set in /etc/sysconfig/mysql in the variable
MYSQLD_MULTI.

When this option is set to yes the bootscript /etc/init.d/mysql
will be using a different leg (introduced in openSUSE_11.0) to start the
mysql daemon.  The different leg uses mysqld_multi to start, stop,
reload and report databases, while the older method of doing the
start, stop, reload and report actions relied on calling mysqld_safe
directly (mysqld_safe is also called by mysqld_multi, that is not
changed).

The mysqld_multi leg will start all databases that have a section name
mysqldN in /etc/my.cnf (with N being an integer).  The mysqld_multi leg
will not start the database that is normally started when MYSQLD_MULTI is
set to "no".  If this is required the section [mysqld1] must be uncommented
in /etc/my.cnf.

WARNING
--------
Make sure that mysqld1 and the database started with MYSQLD_MULTI
set to "no" are never, I'll repeat never run at the same time.  That may
corrupt your data!
