my favorite option would be to kill of wxPython, because it also blocks the update of wxWidgets.
quickly looking at it, it seems only python3xx-matplotlib-wx requries it, and nothing seems to depend on python3xx-matplotlib-wx
Should I file 2 deletereq and see if anything shows up?
Ah bugger.... doing osc whatdependson -M shows quite a few packages...
I see there is a version update available from upstream for python-wxPython (4.2.2) - Could we give that one a try?
