The patch fixes the barbican-worker service from hanging on shutdown if queue.asynchronous_workers config option is set to 2 (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/barbican/+bug/1705543).
The patch was applied to the Ocata package, but is missing from the Pike package. The problem is still reproducible in Pike.
