Upstream staging GIT branches for next to-be released versions of Node.

If your library is a basic building block (-> subject to interpretation) and topically does not fit into another project, this may be the place for it.

Some rules..

1. We only build against the standard repositories for the distros
2. Users only get access to their packages. We should keep the number of project maintainers as small as possible

Boost provides free peer-reviewed portable C++ source libraries. The emphasis is on libraries that work well with the C++ Standard Library. One goal is to establish "existing practice" and provide reference implementations so that the Boost libraries are suitable for eventual standardization. Some of the libraries have already been proposed for inclusion in the C++ Standards Committee's upcoming C++ Standard Library Technical Report.

Although Boost was begun by members of the C++ Standards Committee Library Working Group, membership has expanded to include thousands of members of the C++ community at large.

The 0MQ lightweight messaging kernel is a library which extends the
standard socket interfaces with features traditionally provided by
specialised messaging middleware products. 0MQ sockets provide an
abstraction of asynchronous message queues, multiple messaging patterns,
message filtering (subscriptions), seamless access to multiple transport
protocols and more.

Lpe stands for "lightweight programmer's editor", and is exactly that.
It is designed to provide at the same time all the features that might
be required in a decent code editor and a light, intuitive feel that
makes it a pleasure to work with, making all necessary commands
accessible as easily as possible.
