Server Database software
MariaDB Connector is used to connect applications developed in
C or C++ to MariaDB and MySQL databases.
This package contains the MariaDB ODBC Connector to be used with unixODBC.
dnsdist is a highly DNS-, DoS- and abuse-aware loadbalancer. Its goal in life
is to route traffic to the best server, delivering top performance to
legitimate users while shunting or blocking abusive traffic.
dnsdist is dynamic, in the sense that its configuration can be changed at
runtime, and that its statistics can be queried from a console-like interface.
The goal of ldns is to simplify DNS programming, it supports recent RFCs like
the DNSSEC documents, and allows developers to easily create software
conforming to current RFCs, and experimental software for current Internet
Drafts. A secondary benefit of using ldns is speed; ldns is written in C it
should be a lot faster than Perl.
NSD is a complete implementation of an authoritative domain name server developed
by NLnet Labs with the purpose of creating more diversity in the DNS landscape.
The PowerDNS Nameserver is a modern, advanced and high performance
authoritative-only nameserver. It is written from scratch and conforms
to all relevant DNS standards documents. Furthermore, PowerDNS
interfaces with almost any database.
PowerDNS Recursor is a non authoritative/recursing DNS server.
Use this package if you need a dns cache for your network.

njs is a subset of the JavaScript language that allows extending nginx functionality.
njs is created in compliance with ECMAScript 5.1 (strict mode) with some ECMAScript 6 and later extensions.
This project contains proxy implementations, for HTTP, FTP, or others. It also serves as development project for packages around the topic of proxies in the openSUSE:Factory distribution. If you want to participate you can contact us individually. Please report bugs to the respective bugowners as set.
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP(S), FTP, and
some others. It reduces bandwidth and improves response times by
caching and reusing frequently-requested web pages. Squid has
extensive access controls and can also be used as a server
accelerator.
SquidGuard is a filter, redirector, and access controller plugin for squid.
It lets you define multiple access rules with different restrictions for
different user groups on a squid cache. SquidGuard uses squid's
standard redirector interface.
Manages preferred program execution that relies on config files and not symlink management
CFEngine is the core of a configuration management system: ensuring
the availability, security and compliance of mission-critical
applications and services. Based on popular and flexible open source
configuration management software, CFEngine configuration management
products are highly scalable through decentralized, autonomous agents
that can continuously monitor, self-repair, and update the IT
infrastructure of a global multi-site enterprise - with negligible
impact on system resources or performance.
Masterfiles are the pristine version of the CFEngine promises. These
will be available in /var/cfengine/masterfiles and are copied to
/var/cfengine/inputs by CFEngine.
Cockpit is a server manager that makes it easy to administer your GNU/Linux servers via a web browser.

CIM, WBEM and all the other nice goodies for enterprise systems management.
A utility allowing CMPI provider packages to register with whatever CIMOM(s) happens to be present on the system.
Base System CIM Providers
A provider interface enabling CIM providers written in Python.
PyWBEM is a Python module for making CIM operation calls using the WBEM
protocol to query and update managed objects.
