Involved Projects and Packages
EqualX is a helpful graphical interface to LaTeX programs
Gummi is a LaTeX editor written using the GTK+ toolkit. It was designed with
simplicity in mind, but is useful for both novice and advanced LaTeX writers.
Lios is a free and open source software for converting print in to text using
either scanner or a camera. It can also produce text out of scanned images from
other sources such as Pdf, Image, Folder containing Images or screenshot.
Program is given total accessibility for visually impaired. Lios is written in
python3.
An automated system for compiling LaTeX documents
Setzer is an easy to use yet full-featured LaTeX editor for the GNU/Linux
desktop, written in Python with Gtk.
Texmaker is a LaTeX editor that integrates many tools
needed to develop documents with LaTeX in just one application.
Texmaker includes unicode support, spell checking, auto-completion,
code folding and a built-in PDF viewer with synctex support and
continuous view mode.
The TeXworks project is an effort to build a simple TeX front-end program (working environment) that will be available for all today’s major desktop operating systems—in particular, MS Windows (XP and Vista), typical GNU/Linux distros and other X11-based systems, and Mac OS X. It is deliberately modeled on Dick Koch’s award-winning TeXShop for Mac OS X, which is credited with a resurgence of TeX usage on the Mac platform.

APFEL is able to perform DGLAP evolution up to NNLO in QCD and to LO in QED, both with pole and MSbar masses. The coupled DGLAP QCD+QED evolution equations are solved in x-space by means of higher order interpolations and Runge-Kutta techniques, and allows to explore different options for the treatment of subleading terms.
APFEL provides the user with a graphical interface which performs PDF, luminosity and DIS observables plots in real time, granting an easy access to all the APFEL's functionalities.
The objective of BLAS++ is to provide a performance oriented API for
development in the C++ language, that, for the most part, preserves established
conventions, while, at the same time, takes advantages of modern C++ features,
such as: namespaces, templates, exceptions, etc.
Casacore provides a suite of C++ libraries for radio astronomy data processing.
The casarest package is the remainder of the AIPS++ libraries over and above
the casacore library. It consists of the libraries: msvis, calibration,
synthesis, flagging, simulators, and ionosphere.
The prorgram lwimager (part of synthesis) is the main deliverable.
CLHEP is intended to be a set of high energy physics specific foundation and utility classes such as random generators, physics vectors, geometry and linear algebra. CLHEP is structured in a set of packages independent of any external package interdependencies within CLHEP are allowed under certain conditions).
ColorFull is a C++ code for calculations in QCD (SU(Nc)) color space. It can
* Square any QCD color amplitude and calculate any interference.
* Create a trace type basis for any number of quarks and gluons.
* Read in and write out color bases.
* Calculate scalar product matrices, i.e., the matrices of scalar products between the basis vectors.
* Describe the effect of gluon exchange, including calculating the color soft anomalous dimension matrices.
* Describe the effect of gluon emission.
* Be interfaced to Herwig++ (>= 2.7) via Matchbox.
Dynare is a software platform for handling a wide class of economic models, in
particular dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) and overlapping
generations (OLG) models.
FastJet is a software package for jet finding in pp and e+e- collisions. It includes fast native implementations of many sequential recombination clustering algorithms, plugins for access to a range of cone jet finders and tools for advanced jet manipulation.
Provides a library of 3rd-party add-ons to FastJet.
FORM is a Symbolic Manipulation System. It reads symbolic expressions from files
and executes symbolic/algebraic transformations upon them. The answers are
returned in a textual mathematical representation. As its landmark feature, the
size of the considered expressions in FORM is only limited by the available
disk space and not by the available RAM.
A Common Data Frame Format for Interferometric Gravitational Wave Detector has
been developed by VIRGO and LIGO. The Frame Library is a software in C
language, with interfaces to python and matlab, dedicated to frame data
manipulation including file input/output.
This package provides a data set of nuclear shell effects in INCL/ABLA hadronic
mode for use by GEANT4.
Data files for low energy electromagnetic processes are derived from
the Livermore data libraries (except for the photoelectric_angular
module):
* EPDL97 - Evaluated Photon Data Library
* EEDL - Evaluated Electron Data Library
* EADL - Evaluated Atom Data Library
The data have been reformatted for usage in Geant4 and some files
contain values resulting from fitting of the original data.
This package provides a data set of nuclides state properties derived
from the Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File for use by GEANT4.
This package provides a data set of proton and neutron density profiles in INCL
for use by GEANT4.
This package provides neutron data files with thermal cross-sections
for use with GEANT4.
Neutron cross-sections and final states are obtained from Joint
Evaluated Fission and Fusion File (JEFF version 3.3). Files not
coming from JEFF-3.3 and corresponding to previous G4NDL versions are:
JENDL_HE, IsotopeProduction, ThermalScattering, Inelastic/Gammas,
Fission/FF. Information concerning the conversion process of JEFF-3.3
to the G4NDL format can be found in: E.Mendoza and D.Cano-Ott, IAEA
technical report INDC(NDS)-0758, Vienna, 2018.
Evaluated data produced using data sets via averaging procedure for neutron energies.
