Involved Projects and Packages
to quote wikipedia:
Software Configuration Management (SCM) is part of configuration management (CM). Roger Pressman (in his book) Software Engineering: A Practitioner's Approach, says that software configuration management (SCM) is a "set of activities designed to control change by identifying the work products that are likely to change, establishing relationships among them, defining mechanisms for managing different versions of these work products, controlling the changes imposed, and auditing and reporting on the changes made." In other words, SCM is a methodology to control and manage a software development project.
SCM concerns itself with answering the question: somebody did something, how can one reproduce it? Often the problem involves not reproducing "it" identically, but with controlled, incremental changes. Answering the question will thus become a matter of comparing different results and of analysing their differences. Traditional CM typically focused on controlled creation of relatively simple products. Nowadays, implementers of SCM face the challenge of dealing with relatively minor increments under their own control, in the context of the complex system being developed.
Trac is a minimalistic web-based software project management and bug/issue tracking system. It provides an interface to the Subversion revision control systems, an integrated wiki, flexible issue tracking and convenient report facilities.
The AccountManagerPlugin offers several features for managing user accounts:
* allow users to register new accounts
* login via an HTML form instead of using HTTP authentication
* allow existing users to change their passwords or delete their accounts
* send a new password to users who’ve forgotten their password
* administration of user accounts
AdvancedTicketWorkflowPlugin provides a number of advanced operations for customizable workflows that are similar to the operations provided in the customizeable workflow of the core system.
Currently provided operations are:
* set_owner_to_reporter
* set_owner_to_component_owner
* set_owner_to_field
* set_owner_to_previous
* set_status_to_previous
* reset_milestone
* run_external
* triage
* xref
This plugin provides a more helpful experience in the editing of a Trac ticket's CC field than the standard Trac core's functionality. A pop-up window with a list of checkboxes is opened. The user can then check/uncheck boxes, and email addresses are added to or removed from the CC field as needed.
This plugin allows you to embed foldable structures in wiki pages, in the style of the Trac ticket attachments foldable structure. The plugin utilizes two macros: one to denote the start of a foldable structure, and one to denote the end of the structure. Foldable text supports WikiFormatting and nested folds, so long as spacing is accomplished by the former.
This plugin uses the configuration option API in Trac to allow modification of any field exposed through this mechanism.
A plugin that allows different ways to reject contributions that contain spam.
The TracStatsPlugin adds a Stats tab to the trac project. Underneath this tab can be found statistics about subversion, wiki, and ticket system.
Tools of the SUSE Documentation Team and documentation-related tools, used for building the contents in project Documentation.
Sigil is a free and open source editor for the EPUB format. It is designed for easy, WYSIWYG editing of EPUB files and for converting other formats to EPUB. It also provides features for advanced users, like direct XHTML, CSS and XPGT editing. You can use it to add any of the metadata entries supported by the EPUB specification and create a hierarchical Table of Contents.
This project contains normal text editors and special hexadecimal editors. Both for X11 and the console.
This project contains packages required to use or setup peer to peer networks as well as other tools to share files.

Shoot up bubbles. Similar to the console game Puzzle-Bobble.
Level editors, server browsers, pixel art tools, asset extractors etc.
This project hosts all graphics related software, such as viewers, tools for manipulating images, capturing and such stuff.
It is a devel project for openSUSE:Factory.
pngquant is a command-line utility and a library for lossy compression of PNG images.
The conversion reduces file sizes significantly (often as much as 70%) and preserves full alpha transparency. Generated images are compatible with all modern web browsers, and have better fallback in IE6 than 24-bit PNGs.
The software comprises 3 different components:
A) the servers - there is a CLI based server for each type of hardware.
For example, hpsdr-server, usrp-server, softrock (server), sdriq-server, HiQSDR
B) the dspserver - this is the software in the middle that processes the IQ data
from the server (connected over LAN via UDP) using DttSP. The same dspserver
can connect to any of the servers in A.
C) the client - QtRadio
Packages I maintain primarily:
- alpine
- displaylink (no longer active)
- mp3gain
- pixieplus (no longer included in openSUSE)
- recover
Probably these will move to other projects sometimes in the future.
Alpine -- an Alternatively Licensed Program for Internet News & Email -- is a tool for reading, sending, and managing electronic messages. Alpine is the successor to Pine and was developed by Computing & Communications at the University of Washington.
Though originally designed for inexperienced email users, Alpine supports many advanced features, and an ever-growing number of configuration and personal-preference options.
This driver supports the following device families: DL-6xxx, DL-5xxx, DL-41xx, DL-3xxx

MP3Gain analyzes and losslessly adjusts mp3 files to a specified target volume. It does not simply do peak amplitude normalization. Instead, it performs statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear.
Pavuk is used to download or mirror web sites or files. It transfers documents
from HTTP, FTP, Gopher and optionally from HTTPS (HTTP over SSL) servers. An
optional GTK GUI allows easy configuration. Many options allow fine-tuning for
the usage scenario. This is an tool for experts and much to complicated for
beginners.
