A simple tool that allows system administrators to set a site-wide
default for which MPI implementation is to be used, but also allow
users to set their own defaults MPI implementation, thereby overriding
the site-wide default.
The default can be changed easily via the mpi-selector command --
editing of shell startup files is not required.
This project provides all kind of multimedia applications. This includes
players for audio and video data, recording and cutting applications.
These tools can be used to convert DV to image streams, avi or mov
files and back, duplicate or drop frames and to convert kino projects
to DV, raw audio and raw yuv video
More details can be found using "man smilutils" and at:
http://users.pandora.be/acp/kino/smilutils.html
This project is a central place for audio, video and image libraries for parsing multimedia data (also known as codecs), tags or containers. It is also a place for multimedia data processing libraries.
Command line utilities without GUI toolkit dependencies can be placed into this project as well. Please don't place end-user GUI based applications here, put them into multimedia:apps. Base your project on packages in this project instead.
This project also serves as development project for packages around this topic in the openSUSE:Factory distribution. If you want to participate you can contact us individually or use our mailinglist opensuse-packaging@opensuse.org. Please report bugs to the respective bugowners as set.
NOTE: Automatically created during Factory devel project migration by admin.
ConMan is a serial console management program designed to support a large
number of console devices and simultaneous users. It supports:
- local serial devices
- remote terminal servers (via the telnet protocol)
- IPMI Serial-Over-LAN (via FreeIPMI)
- Unix domain sockets
- external processes (eg, using Expect for telnet/ssh/ipmi-sol connections)
Its features include:
- logging (and optionally timestamping) console device output to file
- connecting to consoles in monitor (R/O) or interactive (R/W) mode
- allowing clients to share or steal console write privileges
- broadcasting client output to multiple consoles
The Quasar DV codec (libdv) is a software codec for DV video, the
encoding format used by most digital camcorders, typically those that
support the IEEE 1394 (FireWire or i.Link) interface. Libdv was
developed according to the official standards for DV video: IEC 61834
and SMPTE 314M.
There are two sample applications included with libdv: playdv and
encode.
libehca is a userspace driver for IBM InfiniBand HCAs (ehca). It works
as a plug-in module for libibverbs that allows programs to use IBM
InfiniBand HCAs hardware directly from userspace.
libehca currently supports the following IBM InfiniBand HCAs: - GX
Dual-port 4x IB HCA
- GX Dual-port 12x IB HCA
This package contains the interface library routines used by IBM
modules to interface with the IBM eServer Cryptographic Accelerator
(ICA).
The zfcp device driver is a FCP device driver for Linux for zSeries.
The whole implementation of FC-HBA for the zfcp device driver is called
zfcp HBA API. It is a shared library which provides the API defined in
FC-HBA.

The PKCS#11 version 2.11 API implemented for the IBM cryptographic
cards. This package includes support for the IBM 4758 cryptographic
coprocessor (with the PKCS#11 firmware loaded) and the IBM eServer
Cryptographic Accelerator (FC 4960 on pSeries).
Open MPI is a project combining technologies and resources from several
other projects (FT-MPI, LA-MPI, LAM/MPI, and PACX-MPI) in order to
build the best MPI library available.
This RPM contains all the tools necessary to compile, link, and run
Open MPI jobs.
This package contains a shared object OpenSSL dynamic engine for the
IBM eServer Cryptographic Accelerator (ICA).
s390 is a simple utility to set the 32bit personality on 64bit s390x
machines. this creates an environment for the specified program (shell)
and all child processes. In the created environment, uname -m returns
s390, so all utilities believe they are running on a 32bit machine.

This package contains a family of IBM 3270 mainframe terminal
emulators:
* terminal emulators for interactive use x3270 X Window System
c3270 curses based
* terminal emulators for scripted use s3270 see the x3270-script
man page tcl3270 Tcl based
* printer emulator pr3287
* do not miss the punch card puncher emulator x026
x3270 is an IBM 3270 terminal emulator for the X Window System. x3270
runs over a telnet connection (with or without TN3270E) and emulates
either an IBM 3279 (color) or 3278 (monochrome). It supports APL2
characters, IND$FILE file transfer, NVT mode, a pop-up keypad for
3270-specific keys, alternative keymaps, 3287 printer sessions, and a
scrollbar and has extensive debugging and scripting facilities.
c3270 is the curses-based version of x3270. It runs on any dumb
terminal (an xterm or a console, for example), and supports (almost)
all of the x3270 features. c3270 scripts are compatible with x3270
scripts, and the subset of command line options and resource
definitions are also compatible.
s3270 is a scripting-only version of x3270. This program is intended
primarily for writing "screen-scraping" applications, for example a CGI
back-end script that retrieves database information from a mainframe.
tcl3270 is a Tcl-based 3270 scripting engine. It lets you write Tcl
scripts that manipulate 3270 sessions, and is quite a bit easier to set
up and use than s3270.
pr3287 is the printer companion for the above tools, and allows printer
output from a 3270 session to be directed to a Unix printer queue.
x026 is a fun toy which emulates an x026 puncher.
