AVaRICE
AVaRICE is a program which interfaces the GNU Debugger GDB with the AVR JTAG ICE available from Atmel. There are some third party clones of the (old, "mkI") Atmel jtagice available for purchase via the web for prices much less than the Atmel's offering. The AVR Dragon is a low-cost offering from Atmel, and is also supported.
# Insight is a graphical user interface to GDB, the GNU Debugger written in
# Tcl/Tk by people working at Red Hat, Inc. and Cygnus Solutions.

This is a meta packackage used for pulling the patches
for the entire avr toolchain together.
It is named after the best patch collection resource for linux, that I could find:

SQLite is a small fast embedded SQL database engine.
DBD::SQLite embeds that database engine into a DBD driver, so if you want a relational database for your project, but don't want to install a large RDBMS system like MySQL or PostgreSQL, then DBD::SQLite may be just what you need.
It supports quite a lot of features, such as transactions (atomic commit and rollback), indexes, DBA-free operation, a large subset of SQL92 supported, and more.

This module is designed to work with _.desktop_ files. The format of these files is specified by the freedesktop "Desktop Entry" specification. This module can parse these files but also knows how to run the applications defined by these files.
For this module version 1.0 of the specification was used.
This module was written to support File::MimeInfo::Applications.
Please remember: case is significant for the names of Desktop Entry keys.
This module can be used to determine the mime type of a file. It tries to implement the freedesktop specification for a shared MIME database.
This package only uses the globs file. No real magic checking is used. The File::MimeInfo::Magic package is provided for magic typing.
If you want to determine the mimetype of data in a memory buffer you should use File::MimeInfo::Magic in combination with IO::Scalar.
This module loads the various data files when needed. If you want to hash data earlier see the 'rehash' methods below.
File::Unpack is an unpacker for archive files (bz2/gz/zip/tar/cpio/iso/rpm/deb/cab/lzma/7z/rar/...) based on mime-types. We call it strong, because it is not fooled by file suffixes, or multiply wrapped packages.
It recursivly descends into each archive found until it finally exposes all unpackable payload contents.
A precise logfile can be written, describing mimetypes and unpack actions.
Most of the known archive file formats are supported. It allows simple shell-script-style plugins to add more.

IO Interface to compressed data files/buffers. This module is not intended for direct use in application code. Its sole purpose if to to be sub-classed by IO::Compress modules.
Note: Included in perl (usually in an older version), has workaround to be installable
The toolkit is combined from two basic set of classes - core and external. The core classes are coded in C and form a base line for every Prima object written in perl. The usage of C is possible together with the toolkit; however, its full power is revealed in the perl domain. The external classes present easily expandable set of widgets, written completely in perl and communicating with the system using Prima library calls.

Chrpath allows you to modify the dynamic library load path (rpath) of
compiled programs. Currently, only removing and modifying the rpath is
supported. It cannot extend or add an rpath.
calibre is an e-book library manager. It can view,
convert and catalog ebooks in most of the major e-book formats.
It can also talk to a few e-book reader devices. It can go out
to the Internet and fetch metadata for your books.
It can download newspapers and convert them into e-books for convenient reading.
All that is here is only temporary.

Fat-gundel restores deleted JPEG images from your digicam's storage chip.
It usually even succeeds after the chip was formatted.
(Most cameras do not really format the chip when you choose format.)
Fat-gundel runs on a block device without actually mounting the filesystem.
Fat-gundel reads the bootblock for basic device information, but ignores all
FAT-tables and directory information.
JPEG Images have a strict data format, thus our task is much easier than
finding deleted files in general. We search for JPEG headers and copy
the corresponding files to your computers harddisk.
If you frequently format your chips or remove all files regularly, fat-gundel
has a good chance to restore *all* images later. Repeatedly adding and deleting
individual images may cause fragmentation, which needs implementation.
Neverthelss, fat-gundel has -- compared to similar tools -- a tendency to err on
the inclusive side. That is, it is very likely that you will see multiple copies
or partially mixed or scrambled versions of some possible image candidates, where
other tools would have discarded an invalid image. Also, it is almost certain
that fat-gundel will bring back additional images, that have been deleted intentionally or
had existed before the media was formatted.
Support for other filesystems is to be done. If ever needed --
SD-Cards and USB-Sticks are almost always FAT Filesystems.
It is a command line tool. No GUI.
