c-icap is an implementation of an ICAP server. It can be used with HTTP proxies
that support the ICAP protocol to implement content adaptation and filtering
services.
Most of the commercial HTTP proxies must support the ICAP protocol. The open
source Squid 3.x proxy server supports it.
SquidAnalyzer parse native access log format of the Squid proxy and
generate general statistics about hits, bytes, users, networks, top url
and top second level domain.
Statistic reports are oriented to user and bandwidth control, this is
not a pure cache statistics generator.
This analyzer is incremental so it should be run in a daily cron. Take
care if you have rotate log enable to run it before rotation is done.
The HTML output need a huge size for large number of user. Here on my
pentium III 500 MHz with 15Mb of free memory, for 600 users and an
access.log of 72 Mb it takes 20 minutes to run and generate 70 Mb of
HTML output by month. If you have an older system than this and want to
save space and time, you can disable url details feature that logs and
reports statistics for every URL and domain.
SquidClamav is an antivirus for Squid proxy based on the Awards winnings ClamAv
anti-virus toolkit. Using it will help you securing your home or enterprise
network web traffic. SquidClamav is the most efficient Squid Redirector and
ICAP service antivirus tool for HTTP traffic available for free, it is written
in C and can handle thousand of connections. The way to add more securing on
your network for free is here.
SquidClamav is build for speed and security in mind, it is first used and
tested to secure a network with 2,500 and more users. It is also known to
working fast with 15000+ users.
SquidGuard Manager is a Perl CGI Web GUI for squidGuard and SquidClamav
administration. It allow full administration of SquidGuard blocklist and ACLs.
You can also manage graphicaly your SquidClamav configuration.
This program support all configurations directives of SquidGuard and
SquidClamav without intrusive modification, i-e you can still edit the
configuration files by hand before and after using SquidGuard Manager.

Project for FOX related programs and libraries.
See http://www.fox-toolkit.org/ for more details.
FOX is a C++-based library for graphical user interface development.
This is the stable version 1.4 needed by old packages like xfe.
FOX supports modern GUI features such as drag-and-drop, tooltips, tab
books, tree lists, icons, multiple document interfaces (MDI), timers,
idle processing, automatic GUI updating, as well as OpenGL/Mesa for 3D
graphics. Subclassing of basic FOX widgets allows for easy extension
beyond the built-in widgets by application writers.

GNUstep provides a robust implementation of the AppKit and Foundation libraries
as well as the development tools available on Cocoa, including Gorm (the
InterfaceBuilder) and ProjectCenter (ProjectBuilder/Xcode).
"Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment", is an extremely fast, performing and energy saving desktop environment. It is maintained by an international community of developers and comes with a beautiful interface, multi-language support, standard keyboard short cuts and additional features like tabbed file browsing. LXDE uses less CPU and less RAM. It is especially designed for cloud computers with low hardware specifications like netbooks, mobile devices (e.g. MIDs) or older computers. LXDE can be installed with distributions like openSUSE. It provides a fast desktop experience connecting easily with applications in the cloud. LXDE supports a wealth of programs, that can be installed with Linux systems locally. The source code of LXDE is licensed partly under the terms of the General Public License and partly under the LGPL.

Sugar is the core of the OLPC Human Interface. Its goal is to turn the Laptop into a fun, easy to use, social experience that promotes sharing and learning.
Sugar reinvents how computers can be used for education. Sugar promotes sharing, collaborative learning, and reflection. Through Sugar's clarity of design, children and their teachers have the opportunity to use computation on their own terms; they are free to reshape, reinvent, and reapply both software and content into powerful learning activities. Sugar is a community project; it is based on GNU/Linux, a free and open-source operating system.
