We intend to do this by developing an easy to use clean graphical user interface and making full use of the extensible XMPP protocol. The project is all about getting together and having fun developing a crucial tool for long distance collaboration.

Galago is a D-BUS-based desktop presence framework used to provide
account,person, and presence information for users on IM services and
othercommunication networks for use in other desktop applications, such
as e-mailclients or address books.

A collection of widgets that work with the Galago desktop presence
framework.

This package is based on the package 'loudmouth' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

Loudmouth is a lightweight and easy-to-use C library for programming
with the Jabber protocol. It is designed to be easy to get started with
and yet extensible to let you do anything the Jabber protocol allows.

The nvidia-settings utility is a tool for configuring the NVIDIA Linux
graphics driver. It operates by communicating with the NVIDIA X driver,
querying and updating state as appropriate. This communication is done with
the NV-CONTROL X extension.

Values such as brightness and gamma, XVideo attributes, temperature, and
OpenGL settings can be queried and configured via nvidia-settings.

When nvidia-settings starts, it reads the current settings from its
configuration file and sends those settings to the X server.
Then, it displays a graphical user interface (GUI) interface for configuring
the current settings. When nvidia-settings exits, it queries the current
settings from the X server and saves them to the configuration file.

Conky, a fork of torsmo, is a light-weight system monitor under active development.

This version has the following enabled;

* X11: X11 XDamage XDBE Xft ARGB
* Music detection: MPD MOC
* General: math hddtemp portmon wireless Curl RSS config-output Imlib2 apcupsd I/O stats nvidia
* Lua bindings: Cairo Imlib2

conkyconf creates a basic system (/etc/conky/conky.conf) or user (~/.conkyrc) conky configuration file including CPU, RAM and filesystems usage, CPU and mainboard temperature sensors (if available), CPU and memory top processes, weather info and forecast, one line of scrolling rss feed (doesn't work very well under openSUSE and Ubuntu but seems to be fine under ArchLinux and Fedora). It can also parse and display the last lines of a log file of your choice. It uses conkyweather by Hardik Metha for weather info and a lua script to create color gradients for fs and cpu bars as well as others things. The script has several command line options and is highly configurable.

Ctwm is a window manager for the X Window System. It provides
titlebars, shaped windows, virtual screens (workspaces), several forms
of icon management, user-defined macro functions, click-to-type and
pointer-driven keyboard focus, and user-specified key and pointer
button bindings. It is actually twm (Tab Window Manager) from the MIT
X11 distribution slightly modified to accommodate the use of several
virtual screens (workspaces). It is heavily inspired from the
Hewlett-Packard vuewm window manager. In addition, ctwm can use
coloured, shaped icons and background root pixmaps in XPM and JPG format,
as well as any format understood by the imconv package [from the
San Diego Supercomputer Center] and xwd files. Ctwm can be compiled
to use both, either or none of the above icon/pixmap formats.

Elvis is an old text editor, compatible with vi. It has all the usual
extensions (multiple buffers, multiple windows, syntax coloring,
etc.) plus a variety of display modes including "html" and "man".
Elvis used to be the default vi clone in the first versions of SuSE Linux.

Install fltk-devel if you need to develop FLTK applications.
You'll need to install the fltk package if you plan to run
dynamically linked applications.

Simple library that eases the creation of Window Maker dock apps. It
provides functions that set up a dock app in such a way that they can be
properly docked. It also provides some event handlers and makes it very
simple to write dockapps.

updategrub adds other Linuxes boot entries to Legacy Grub menu using
os-proper in a similar way that Grub2 does.
