JACK Audio Connection Kit - Qt GUI Interface: A simple Qt application
to control the JACK server. Written in C++ around the Qt4 toolkit
for X11, most exclusively using Qt Designer. Provides a simple GUI
dialog for setting several JACK server parameters, which are properly
saved between sessions, and a way control of the status of the audio
server. With time, this primordial interface has become richer by
including a enhanced patchbay and connection control features.

The resample program is a high-quality resampling program. For example,
it can be used to convert the sampling rate from 48 kHz (used by DAT
machines) to 44.1 kHz (the standard sampling rate for Compact Discs).

Seq24 is a real-time midi sequencer. It was created to provide a very
simple interface for editing and playing MIDI 'loops.'

Snd is a sound editor modelled loosely after Emacs and an old,
sorely-missed PDP-10 sound editor named Dpysnd. It can accommodate any
number of sounds each with any number of channels and can be customized
and extended using guile and guile-gtk.

Solfege is an eartraining program for X written in python, using
the GTK+ and GNOME libraries. To use this software you need some
basic knowledge about music theory. Using solfege you can learn
to recognise melodic and harmonic intervals, compare interval
sizes, sing the intervals the computer asks for, identify chords,
sing chords, scales, dictation and remember rhythmic patterns.

Speex is a patent free audio codec designed especially for voice
(unlike Vorbis which targets general audio) signals and providing good
narrowband and wideband quality. This project aims to be complementary
to the Vorbis codec.

StGIT is a Python application providing similar functionality to Quilt
(i.e. pushing/popping patches to/from a stack) on top of GIT. These
operations are performed using GIT commands and the patches are stored
as GIT commit objects, allowing easy merging of the StGIT patches into
other repositories using standard GIT functionality.

TiMidity plays MIDI files without external MIDI instruments and
converts MIDI files to WAV using GUS/patch and SoundFont for voice
data.

Vkeybd is a virtual keyboard (as in musical instrument) for AWE32/64,
raw MIDI, and ALSA sequencer drivers. It is written in Tcl/Tk. Enjoy
playing music with your "computer" keyboard.

This package contains some tools for Ogg Vorbis:

oggenc (an encoder) and ogg123 (a playback tool). It also has vorbiscomment (to
add comments to Vorbis files), ogginfo (to give all useful information about an
Ogg file, including streams in it), oggdec (a simple command line decoder), and
vcut (which allows you to cut up Vorbis files).

ZynAddSubFX is a many-featured real-time software synthesizer for
Linux. Features include polyphony and multitimbrel and microtonal
capabilities. It includes randomness of some parameters, which can make
warm sounds, like analog synthesizers. This program has system and
insertion effects, too.

libptytty is an offspring of rxvt-unicode that handles pty/tty/utmp/wtmp/lastlog handling in mostly OS-independent ways, so it's less of a hassle for you :)

This is an internal package that is used to create the patterns as part
of the installation source setup. Installation of this package does
not make sense.

This particular package contains the Xfce patterns.

This project builds live images for optical media and USB sticks with Xfce software.

This is where we build and test the latest and unstable release of Xfce Desktop Environment for openSUSE.

In a playful way, a rat is meant to represent the unpolished nature of this release: a rat is scruffy looking compared to a mouse (the cute and beloved mascot of Xfce).

The goal of this project is to test and preview the new software so that bugs can be spotted and fixed ahead of time by contributing upstream.

The software in this repository is from Xfce Git Master Branch thus meant for development and testing only. Its use in production devices is strongly discouraged as the software is likely to have bugs and be unstable.

This project aims to build VM images and containers using Xfce from GIT master with customized openSUSE settings.

These KVM & Xen and VMWare images use Xfce GIT master (Tumbleweed RAT) with customized openSUSE settings. They are meant for testing Xfce latest builds that will be the future openSUSE Xfce Tumbleweed.

This repository builds Xfce VM images with vanilla/upstream settings. It is meant for Xfce devs who want to build and test software inside a full Xfce environment.
