This module provides the core components to start participating in the
Access Grid.
QuickBridge is used for AG nodes on networks that are not multicast-enabled.
However, in order to use QuickBridge, it is necessary to have the cooperation
of a site that is multicast-enabled. It is at the multicast-enabled site that
the QuickBridge software is installed. This site does not need to be taking
part in an AG event, or even have an AG node. No additional software need be
installed at the unicast-only site.
AGVCR (AccessGrid Video "Cassette" Recorder) records and plays back multiple
RTP/RTCP streams using a simple, easy-to-use GTK interface.
Please see the project homepage:

Versions for Windows and Mac OS X exist, and the files created are compatible
between all architectures.
This tool traces the branch of a multicast tree from a source to a
receiver for a particular multicast group and gives statistics
about packet rate and loss for each hop along the path.
Install mtrace if you need a tool for diagnosing multicast network
connectivity problems.
If you have more than one version of AGTk installed this module
allows your application to choose which version of AGTk will be
imported.
Bajjer is a library of Python modules for writing your own Jabber
components (clients, servers, bots, toasters, etc.).
Routines common to a number of multimedia tools. The library
originates from work on the RAT project: these are portions that are
not directly related to an audio tool and potentially useful
elsewhere like the bundled RTP beacon.
The beacon is designed to provide multicast connectivity information.
This is done by sending at a prescribed interval a short message via
RTP (a plain text string as it were). Then the normal RTP statistics
communicated via RTCP are used to track the performance of the group.
The Robust Audio Tool (RAT) is a an audio conferencing and streaming
application that allows users to particpate in audio conferences over
the internet. These can be between two participants directly, or
between a group of participants on a common multicast group.
VIC is a video conferencing application developed by the Network
Research Group at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in
collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley.
Most of the quantitative information we have about the cosmos comes from
spectroscopy. In many cases the light we analyze was produced by atoms in
the first generations of stars and galaxies. The spectra are produced by
dilute gas where such properties as the gas kinetic temperature, chemical
state, level of ionization, and level populations, are determined by a
host of microphysical processes rather than by a single temperature.
Analytical solutions are seldom possible and computer solutions are
needed to understand their physical properties. Numerical simulations make
it possible to understand complex physical environments starting from
first principles. Cloudy is designed to do exactly this.
