System for rendering interactive 3-D graphics

Edit Package Mesa

Mesa is a 3-D graphics library with an API which is very similar to
that of OpenGL.* To the extent that Mesa utilizes the OpenGL command
syntax or state machine, it is being used with authorization from
Silicon Graphics, Inc.(SGI). However, the author does not possess an
OpenGL license from SGI, and makes no claim that Mesa is in any way a
compatible replacement for OpenGL or associated with SGI. Those who
want a licensed implementation of OpenGL should contact a licensed
vendor.

Please do not refer to the library as MesaGL (for legal reasons). It's
just Mesa or The Mesa 3-D graphics library.

* OpenGL is a trademark of Silicon Graphics Incorporated.

Revision 163 (latest revision is 512)
Stephan Kulow's avatar Stephan Kulow (coolo) accepted request 149732 from Stefan Dirsch's avatar Stefan Dirsch (sndirsch) (revision 163)
- reverted removing Libs.private/Requires.private in pkgconfig
  files

- enable llvm backend also for ARM

- Add requires for Mesa to Mesa-libGL1 in baselibs.conf
 * Mesa required for many applications in wine
 * wine-32bit pulls through Mesa-libGL1-32bit without Mesa-32bit

- Remove Requires.private and Libs.private from *.pc files
 * Both are needed only for static linking
 * This package provides only shared libraries
 * the rpm pkgconfig dependency generator considers "Requires.private"
a valid dependency even though there are no static libraries in the
   packages
 * This cause bloat and hides broken "buildRequires" in other packages.

This issue affecting icelake graphics and preventing wayland sessions on gnome seems to have been resolved on other distros https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/9889 but is still occuring on tumbleweed. Apologies if I am posting in the wrong place, but wondering if it is on your radar?
