Consider adjusting the project configuration instead of the package itself. This fontconfig issue is a function OBS and not your package. Example: https://build.opensuse.org/projects/home:bgstack15/prjconf

Consider building against libwxgtk3.0-gtk3-dev instead of libwxgtk3.2-dev, it causes runtime error/warning displayed each time on app startup: https://www.dropbox.com/s/prb8tk4vwacujza/Screenshot_20230220_191608.png?dl=1

Debian has removed wxwidgets 3.0 for the next release (bookworm) so that's not really viable. The good news is that it's being worked on upstream, https://github.com/veracrypt/VeraCrypt/pull/999
