Talking about the "mod-firstboot": I guess would be a good idea to also install three essential packages as Flatpak on the first install: Ark, Gwenview and Okular. On GNOME there is no need to install File Roller because Dolphin already do that "out of box", but on Plasma, Dolphin doesn't do this, so we probably need. And the others two apps (the image viewer and the pdf/documents viewer) I think that is also essential for a better experience OOTB.
Dolphin can open archives as well. The option is just not enabled by default.
