Small programming text editor
Lpe stands for "lightweight programmer's editor", and is exactly that.
It is designed to provide at the same time all the features that might
be required in a decent code editor and a light, intuitive feel that
makes it a pleasure to work with, making all necessary commands
accessible as easily as possible.

This is a older console editor that I've used in Debian for the past 15 years. I'm currently defacto upstream for it as well at https://github.com/AdamMajer/lpe I generally use lpe not as a programming editor, but as a config file editor since it has very quick save/quit and sed/awk/shell interface.
