zypper is broken in Docker opensuse/tumbleweed:latest as of today. This reproduces this error:

docker pull opensuse/tumbleweed:latest


docker run -it --rm opensuse/tumbleweed:latest /bin/bash


zypper help

The error is:

Hi!

Is it expected for this Tumbleweed image to be shipped without shadow and without util-linux? It of course makes sense to keep it minimalistic - just wondering since the Leap image does come with those.

groupadd & useradd binaries are missing since the 20230911 release. What happened?
