A library for text mode user interfaces

Edit Package newt

Newt is a programming library for color text-mode, widget-based user
interfaces. Newt can be used to add stacked windows, entry widgets,
checkboxes, radio buttons, labels, plain text fields, scrollbars, etc.,
to text mode user interfaces.

This package also contains a Dialog replacement called whiptail. Newt
is based on the slang library.

Ana Guerrero's avatar Ana Guerrero (anag+factory) accepted request 1187076 from Jan Engelhardt's avatar Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) (revision 52)
- Add -D_GNU_SOURCE to compilation flags because it is a required
feature macro for function setlinebuf to be declared. [boo#1225864]

If the request is OK, can you please also forward it to Factory
soon-ish so that we can switch the default compiler? Thanks! (forwarded request 1187069 from jamborm)
