Hello all,

I gave 2.5.17 a test drive on a standard openSUSE Leap 15.4 (x86-64) system and I'm pretty sure I stumbled across

https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/3035

2.4.22 is working fine on the same system.

mailq gives me

(delivery temporarily suspended: lost connection with smtp.host[/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp] while sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once)

In the postfix log file I find

2023-03-25T15:05:51.604321+01:00 mx postfix/lmtp[9348]: warning: 8B682F52: non-LMTP response from smtp.host[/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp]: malloc_consolidate(): invalid chunk size

And the cyrus lmtpd dies

Mar 25 15:35:29 mx master[18831]: process type:SERVICE name:lmtpunix path:/usr/lib/cyrus/bin/lmtpd age:0.012s pid:18840 signaled to death by signal 6 (Aborted, core dumped)

Will try building a patched version, but not sure when I'll get around to it.

HTH

Hi, Is there a reason why the httpd (for caldav / carddav support) is not included in this package?

Hi Markus, not to my knowledge. It’s probably just nobody needed/requested it. Would you SR a build with httpd enabled?
