This is the changelog upstream provides (minus a few things I've already dropped, as they don't apply to the package). I'd preferably avoid having to write a synopsis based on the changelog myself, but upstream is hard to reason with and I'm fairly confident that the changelogs stay as-is.

The only thing I could see viable is to throw the changelog into ChatGPT and let it write a synopsis of the changes, but I don't know how that works licensing wise.
