I think it may be better to keep the original filename and use Source: url#/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz, because it would make the autosetup line cleaner and make the source match the package better. I can do that later if you think that would be preferred. You're more experienced so I'll go with your gut on this. ☺
I could not possibly envision how that would change the %autosetup line. %setup, %autosetup, %patch and %autopatch are wholly independent of the right-hand side of Source*: and Patch*: lines.
