suggests is better than recommends here
Very likely you even want Suggests: instead of Recommends.
The difference is subtle - but if the user picks another flavor, recommends will keep on 'wanting to install the python3-FOO', whereas suggests does not trigger for installation unless it helps in adjusting the solver run
