We could let it in, some packages depend on
llvm14specifically and don't want a newer version:llvm14 : gtkd ispc klee klee-uclibc ldc tilix tvmwe need to fix %{python3_sitearch} / %{python3_sitelib} usage otherwise it has file conflictings with other llvm, say that Conflicts/Provides doesn't work if use %{python3_sitelib}
You're right, same issue as with
llvm17. And the remaining changes aren't that interesting for Leap, unless @Guillaume_G thinks the ARM patch could be needed.IMO this llvm version "creep" is unsustainable. We'll end up with each and every llvm version this way (and all of them in upstream unsupported state). Consumers deciding to require llvm have to keep up to the pace of llvm development or reconsider.
