Hatchling needs at least Python 3.7+ in its earliest version and in newer versions 3.8+. As such Linkchecker in its newer version can never build on Leap or SLE as long as Python 3.6 is the default system Python.
Thanks. I was aware of this issue but hoped it could be circumvented somehow. That's unfortunate, but the Python system is under heavy changes anyway. Seems it's only a matter of time once we have a more recent version in the next distribution.

It looks like 15.5 is not building due to some missing unresolved dependencies (python-hatch, python-dns ...).
Unfortunately, the develop:languages:python repo has the python-hatch package, but it wasn't built as well. Do you know a solution?
