As written in bsc#1218290#c8, this will not be going to fly. We will need to create a freerdp2 package, where libraries do coexist properly. The devel-packages can (and probably should) conflict. Then, we can submit the current freerdp (3) just fine.

I don't think, that we must rename the former package, there is no rule that says its disallowed to have an (old) not versioned package and a new versioned one. The libraries produced by the old package already had version numbers added to the names as requested in the guidelines.
I have turned on publishing in my branch, so if anyone finds time for testing...
I would prefer to not have another flavor of a package, so freerdp it should be imho. if there is really a need for freerdp 2.x, then introduce the old version as freerdp2.
