the :gnu-hpc failure is still failing with a gcc version related error message. could you please check that as well?

Sorry, but I can't do anything with hpc. And I don't need it myself.
But I would fix it anyway. However, I can't find a really useful article in the opensuse wiki.
How can I change the default variables for gcc there?
Where and in which macro are they stored?
Unfortunately I can't find anything about this.
And with my small and simple change, it definitely works better than before. Because before it didn't work at all for Leap. Actually, I would have expected "Updater" to have done everything correctly. But unfortunately it didn't.
