The perl-IO-Socket-INET6 has been marked as deprecated and it won't be maintained upstream anymore. The perl-IO-Socket-IP package is its replacement being backwards compatible although some code might have to be rewritten. I have identified only two dependencies of the INET6 perl module, these are: spamassassin and perl-ldap. I'll adapt these packages once this submission is accepted. TIA.

Go on. "Require perl(IO::Socket::IP)" is provided by perl package (perl(IO::Socket::IP) = 0.41_01).

IO::Socket:IP is part of perl base package. That shouldn't be submitted to Factory.

If it is deprecated and unneeded. Sure, why not. IO::Socket::IP is there for years now. Everybody should have adapted.
