I think this should go to the *.changes. You can drop - %{version}
.
Since we're building just the plugin, this should only require gnome-software of any version as lot it carries a compatible API
This should likely be gnome-software >= 44.0
(as the API version was bumped to 20 in 44)
hm look like this is a list of progressive web apps, how is this related to snapd?
I think you can drop all the entries in the *.changes file and move this as the only entry there. The point is that we're no tracking the history of the whole of gnome-software, but rather a single plugin (the snapd one).

I looked a bit at osc services, and there's a download_src_package service, which AFAIU should be able to fetch the gnome-software source rpm, which could be a way of uploading the gnome software tarball, see https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Concept_SourceService#download_src_package
I could also include a direct link in the spec file as source, are other ways of downloading the source preferred?

Thank you, Let's get it landed.
This file isn't necessary, it will be auto generated when
osc service runall
runs
