please don't just delete teh source url. update the tarball instead.
It is not that easy. The release tarball is missing some git submodules (which are dropped in latest git) and it is a pain to fix, so I went to the simpler solution.
In this case document this in the spec file and keep the old url as comment to switch back when upstream gets fixed.
