dimstar created request
- Do not build python flavor test suites for python versions that
are not in pythons.
dirkmueller declined request
I'll just remove it alltogether
dimstar revoked request
The package 'home:dimstar:Factory/python-pandas' has been removed
it would be better if it was reflected in the
multibuild
flavors at the top of the spec and in_multibuild
The problem here is that multiple distros can have a different set of python flavors.
so if a distro does not have the flavor defined, it needs to be excluded
example:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory:Staging:O/python-pandas:test-py39
We experiment with disabling py3.9 in Staging:O (will probably not happen soon, but the error can show up)
there is no distro with python 3.9 anymore, so I guess we can just all delete it.
That's inaccurate: TW still has py 3.9 and only has a started experiment (due to totally unrelated fails seen) - there is no real need to drop py3.9 at this stage if we don't want to
yes, I was talking about speculative future of Staging:O being merged. I don't understand why we're dropping py39 but the PR on python-rpm-macros was merged by the python team and submitted to factory, so now the decision as been taken and we'll remove py39 from TW now.
python-rpm-macros' definition of pythons does not matter in OBS - this is only used outside of OBS
