Request 1159802 superseded

- Enable systemd-timesyncd: syncronized time is something nice to
have.

Shouldn't we use chrony for that?

as far as I understand, this service is more or less a wrapper around timedatectl - which is used anyway (and enabling the service is equivalent to timedatectl set-ntp true)

in essence, we need the dbus listener on dbus-org.freedesktop.timesync1

IIRC chrony is installed already, maybe just enable that for consistency? Not sure whether we have ntp configured for timesyncd.

will have to check on GNOME-Next live if that works - i.e enabling that service was the change from red to green on https://openqa.opensuse.org/group_overview/35 (g-c-c is a bit too picky on the permissions there; that's an upstream bug)
