@nuklly: Please ignore the issue with Slowroll for now, it just needs further updates for wayland related packages; the tree is just inconsistent at the moment.

@manfred-h Let's wait until the Slowroll updates to merge. Last time I merged early and the user yelled really loud.

@nuklly Fine with me. I keep on updating the package when needed. Hope we won't see complaints as the package doesn't build anymore in Factory.

Manfred Hollstein's avatar

@nuklly I just found out that the meta information for openSUSE_Slowroll is/was wrong in my project. Instead of

<repository name="openSUSE_Slowroll"> <path project="openSUSE:Slowroll" repository="standard"/> <arch>x86_64</arch> </repository>

it should be

<repository name="openSUSE_Slowroll"> <path project="openSUSE:Slowroll:Base" repository="standard"/> <arch>x86_64</arch> </repository>

This way the package gets built against the last released snapshot of Slowroll.

So, I think you can accept this request now!

@nuklly Build for Slowroll just succeeded, see https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/home:manfred-h:server:messaging/telegram-desktop/openSUSE_Slowroll/x86_64

@nuklly To make it really clear, I added a repo "openSUSE_Slowroll_daily" which does not use ":Base". See the status here:

https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:manfred-h:server:messaging

Please ack the request so we get it building again in Factory ;-)

@nuklly at https://lists.links2linux.de/pipermail/packman/2024-June/017876.html you can find a clear description about openSUSE:Slowroll vs. openSUSE:Slowroll:Base

Manfred Hollstein's avatar

@nuklly Probably the most important thing here is "The updated Slowroll packages should mostly be minor updates that keep ABI-compatibility during that time", which the qt6 updates apparently did not follow.
