Thanks for the reference, but I still stand by using clang. It's easier to maintain using clang instead of gcc because clang follows the latest version on leap instead of forcing using and changing versions on gcc.
this is incorrect actually. Just today I reviewed a package which forced a newer clang for leap :)

Yes, I did it. I push Kew with a clang on the leap. It does not always work for all; only succeed on 15.6 and fail on 15.5.
At least I know how to change and force the version on gcc because of your reference. I can change it if clang has trouble in the future.
