instead of `dbus-1-devel` you can use `pkgconfig(dbus-1)`, making the distro-specific if..endif blocks go away. also applies to gtk3-devel, glib2-devel etc.
%ifs around %package can be ditched because it's idempotent.
`&>` is a bashism and must not be used.
@jengelh could you be more verbose, please? I'm not sure how to use pkgconfig() to get devel package for dbus-1-devel. On my local manchine I got:
unresolvable: nothing provides pkgconfig(dbus-1). Thx
