I doubt that this change fixes anything - the release number/counter gets updated by the buildservice automatically.
I didn't knew about this behaviour. That's actually nice if it auto bumps the release
Can you resubmit the request (superseding this one) with the "Release" change removed in the .spec file and the changes file not mentioning it ?
