Hi Manfred, are you sure about the second && in the if clause, I cannot locate a is_opensuse macro in an arbitrary SLES build. Maybe || ?

to be honest I was mostly (only?) focused to get the build failure for Leap 15.5 fixed ;-) But you are right, we probably should get rid of the 0%{?is_opensuse}, it's not needed at all. I'll submit a new request.

Seems to do its job now!
Still looking at -DCMAKE_INSTALL_DOC_DIR=share/doc/packages/%{name}-devel-doc, I would expect the docs to end up in a different directory for tumbleweed, but cmake arguments read like voodoo spells at times anyway!
