The only functional change is the dm partition naming fix. Fixing the upstream test suite allows regression testing with SUSE parted. Custom tests which test custom patches can follow to avoid regressions.
Automating the tests is not intended as they require quite some dependencies, often root privileges, and run for quite long time.
