Other packages I maintain are the consumer of the python bindings of these packages. I've gone through the consumers and modified them as well: python-tsk, python-dfVFS, python-plaso.
Do I still need to do an obsoletes?
I think so, yes. (Obsoletes: python-vshadow)
If you try to install python2-vshadow in any fashion through rpm, it will abort because of the detected file conflict. …in any fashion through zypper: will probably abort too, since (IIRC) the file conflict detection is not part of the solving stage, and so it won't propose a removal of python-vshadow.
This applies to all the python-XX -> python2-XX you (or the autosubmission bot) sent in recently.
If there is a simple way to do it, feel free to decline everything sent from security:forensics in the last 24 hours. Especially for the auto-submissions, I don't have a "revoke" option.
